'Out of the box' card reader, also known as OOTB, is designed to celebrate the ability of thinking of something unusual but still useful and valuable.

The main reading device is an hand-held device used for receiving the NFC signal and translate it via bluetooth.
It is made of three injection molded parts plus a "Rubber" band to prevent damages given by impacts. No screws are needed for this component. There is a replaceable battery in the lower part of the device. The most interesting feature of this design is the possibility of hanging it around the neck and using it standing were there are no desks or other supports.

The docking station is made of two injection molded parts plus two rubber made "sponges" to secure the reading device in place. This station has the possibility to be wall-mounted thanks to a hole in the back part of it and a specific hook fixed on the wall.
The two parts are assembled with 4 tapping screws.

The shape of this reader and the wide plastic surfaces let the customer to customize the product with the Campus logos or other decals.
